Reader’s Theater learned how to deconstruct fabric that was donated by Mrs. Renette Reyes and Mrs. Kamill Martinez. We inverted articles of clothing, “gutted” inseams, and traced/cut fabric after measuring and tracing templates. We will be making a class quilt, which will be featured in our “Jack & the Beanstalk” play. (Part Three) #reducereuserecycle

Dylan is familiar with quilting, thanks to one of his grandmas .
Anson is creating and original 3 x 3 quilt square.
Tennyson is also familiar with sewing, thanks to her grandma !
Mathew was excited to learn about quilting and likened the deconstruction process to “gutting a fish”. LOL!
