Thank you for your understanding with the extremely cold weather. Magic Valley schools are having difficulty running buses due to freezing temperatures.
While our building is warm and we hate to miss another day of instruction, we want you to be aware that conditions are expected to be the same or colder tonight.
We will notify you as soon as we hear from our bus company. We recommend that you make alternate plans in case schools are closed again.
Our biggest concern is for the safety of our students. We don't want our students waiting at bus stops or arriving at school, in subzero weather, without warm enough clothing. If you are in need of warmer coats, hats, or mittens, please reach out to us so that we can help!
Stay tuned for any announcements; stay warm and stay safe!

Good Morning Heritage Families,

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Heritage Academy 5th-8th grade students got to explore the State Capital and show their school spirit in the School Choice Rally. Students got to meet Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador and learn about his early years and how he got to where he is today, crediting is mom for his success by continuously advocating for his education. It was an inspiring story to hear.
Students then cheered fellow classmate Victoria Rivas on while she presented her speech on the steps of the Capital. After lunch they toured the treasurer’s wing with Julie Ellsworth and got to see inside the original vault and even take peek at a secret elevator.
They finished the day seeing a demonstration of a robot built by students from a school in the Treasure Valley.
