Collage of Veterans, Student council members and guest of the public service recognition breakfast

🎉 What an incredible morning at Heritage Academy!

This time last week, our high school student council hosted our very first Public Service Recognition Breakfast, and it was a huge success! As part of our first year serving high school students, they stepped up in a big way to honor our Veterans, civil servants, and elected officials who help make our community such a wonderful place to live and grow.

It was amazing to hear from Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield, who shared a powerful message and highlighted her own family’s service to our country. This inspiring moment encouraged not only our guests, but also our students.

Students also delivered a moving presentation on Heritage Academy’s present and future, and proudly recognized the local heroes who continue to support our mission. We were honored to welcome several distinguished guests, including Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield, Idaho State Representative Mike Pohanka (District 26), Idaho Public Charter School Commissioner Lisa Paulos, Jerome Mayor Dave Davis, Jerome County Commissioner Chairman Ben Crouch, Jerome County Commissioner Charles Howell, and Jerome County Commissioner Art Watkins.
