Dear Falcon Parents,
We had a wonderful day today and loved seeing all of your students at school!
Here are a few Dear Falcon Parents,
We had a wonderful day today and loved seeing all of your students at school!
Here are a few safety reminders:
1. The playground opens at 7:45. Students will line up with their classes at 8:00 am on the playground. If you are a kindergarten parent or guardian, we will allow you to walk your child to class this week. We hope to help students adjust and line up outside by next week.
2. We encourage all "pick up" parents/guardians to use the pick up lane on Avenue E (the South side of the school). We have pickup numbers for your cars and staff members are trained to quickly get students into cars in a safe manner. Once we learn names and cars, the pick-up line typically takes 5-7 minutes. While we allow front entrance pick up, you may be waiting longer while we locate students and bring them to the office area.
3. Bus routes may take a little longer this week. That is because we wait to release buses until we know all students are in the correct spots (bus, pick-up, walkers, etc.). By next week, we will have learned names and it will take us less time to double-check. Thank you for your patience while we learn everyone's names and after-school transportation preferences.
4. We have high school drivers attending school. If you are a parent/guardian of a driver, you and your student must complete a form in the office in order to receive a parking permit.
5. We will not allow other students to ride with our high school drivers unless we have a release on file. If you plan to have your child/children ride home with a high school student (sibling/friend/neighbor) you must fill out a release form in the office. Please see Mrs. Hickam or Mrs. Rico to obtain a form.
Please feel free to contact any of the administrators or office staff members with questions about transportation or safety.
Have a great evening!
